Any script should spend some time in a cool dark and quiet place. A week passed and Vitalik approached the game again. The skeleton that he and his wife had created that long autumn night needed muscles. Short descriptions and brief ideas became as detailed and thought-through as possible. Both game logic and gameplay took shape.
First Sketches
Vitalik took his notes, expanded his ideas and beautifully put them on large sheets of craft paper – not real paper actually. That was a background used in one of the projects he designed back then. So, this virtual craft paper was simply the first thing that turned up on the screen of his laptop when he switched it on.
All locations of the game world were done. The tree, the fountain, the mushroom kingdom, the volcano, the amusement park, giant strawberries and other magic places were ready too. The puzzle was solved. It is now your turn Mr. Illustrator!
